Seven In A Row At Home
Leeds United 1 Swindon Town 0
Leeds left it late to equal a club record of seven home wins in a row ( last achieved by Dave O Leary's team in the 1999/2000 season) when Beckford scored with a header in the 87th minute. This was Beckford's 29th goal of the season but in the 94th minute he was sent off for dissent which will see him suspended for the game away to Crewe.
While it was great to get the three points this was far from a vintage display by Grayson's men. Swindon keeper Phil Smith saved well from Robert Snodgrass, while Beckford also saw a header cleared off the line. Beckford finally made the breakthrough when he headed in at the far post and it was enough for the win, though he was later sent off for two bookings.
