The following report was sent by text from Jim Ryan who was at today's game along with Ger Kenneally.Doyle, Snodgrass and Beckford return to the Leeds team today. A perfect start for United as Snodgrass pushed home on two minutes when Smithies the Town keeper spilled the ball. Huddersfield hit the post a couple of minutes later and Snodgrass almost got a second from an overhead kick. Leeds survived some late pressure to go in 1 up at half time.

United fell asleep on 47 minutes when Town equalized as Novack headed home from six yards. Leeds introduced Gradel and Becchio and the moved paid off on 66 minutes when Gradel scored. United however conceded a second equalizer on 78 minutes when again from a cross Rhodes soared above Ankergren to score. United survived a late scare in injury time when Pilkington hit the bar from a free kick and in the end a drwa was probably a fair result.
