United Stumble Again
Leyton Orient 1 Leeds United 1
United needed an 95th minute injury-time own goal from Leyton Orient defender Charlie Daniels to take a point from a game which they had totally dominated. The visitors had nine first-half corners but Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones was in fine form, keeping out Gary McSheffrey on three occasions and a Leigh Bromby effort.
On 83 minutes the hosts got into the game and went ahead when Tamika Mkandawire headed in Nicky Adams's cross in only their third attack of the game. However credit to Greyson's boys for going to the final whistle and gaining a precious point as Norwich won away to Brighton to stretch their lead to four points.
Leeds have now three home games in a row coming up and three wins are required as a matter of urgency. While they are creating chances they are not converting them and the sooner Beckford is back from injury the better. Much more work to do to get out of this league.
